Fair Isle Knitting - Hat Class - March 31, 2026 - 6 to 8 pm

Fair Isle knitting is two -color work specific to techniques originating in Fair Isle off the coast of Scotland.  Traditional patterns use multi colors, but only two colors per row/round.  Class will feature a knitted braid edge on either a hat or headband. 

Worsted weight yarn to be purchased prior to class time. Custom pattern will be provided. Students will need US #8  16” circular and double pointed needles and US #4 16” circular needles, available at Lodi Alpacas Uptown, if needed.

Instructor is Kate Robbins, and class size minimum is 2, maximum is 6.
