Learn to Knit! Beginner/Refresher Class - September 22 and 29, 2026 - 2 to 4 pm

Have you always wanted to learn to knit?  Or has it been a while since you played with knitting needles?  This class is designed to teach you all the basics to make knitted items and garments.

Skills covered will be two cast-ons, knit and purl stitches, bind-off and information about tools and yarn.  Students will begin fingerless mitts as shown in photo.

Worsted weight yarn to be purchased prior to class time. Custom pattern will be provided. Students will need US #8 needles, available at Lodi Alpacas Uptown, if needed. Instructor is Kate Robbins, and class size minimum is 2, maximum is 6.
